TOURS OF TURKEY:
Hoş geldiniz – a warm Turkish welcome.
Turkey is a fascinating blend of East and West, old and new, traditional and modern! After spending 10 years living there and having guided and organised many tours to different parts of Turkey my hope is to share my love and enthusiasm of this wonderful country with you. At the same time, I will provide you with the best value for money tour available and we will also have lots of fun along the way.
The tour will provide you with opportunities to see important historic sites, experience the natural beauty of the landscape, cruise the Mediterranean, and experience the bustle of the city and also the charm of rural life. My aim is to provide you with a diversity of experience while you are away. The tour will also provide you with a mixture of organised activities plus enough free time to do your own exploration.
As well as our standard Let’s Talk Turkey tours, specialised tours can also be organised. Do you have a group of 8 plus people that would like to embark on their own tailor made tour of Turkey. Tell me preferences and I can organise a tour to meet the needs of your group. What about a shopping tour for the ‘girls’….Turkey is a buyers paradise and having lived and shopped there for 10 years I certainly know lot of good spots. Or a ‘cooks’ tour of Turkey!? It’s all possible.
TOUR OF ALBANIA:
Albania has natural beauty in such abundance with its stunning mountain scenery, national parks and walking trails, a thriving capital in Tirana and beaches to rival any in the Mediterranean. It is truly the hidden gem of the Balkans. After visiting you will wonder why it has taken 20 years for the country to take off as a tourist destination! Albania offers a remarkable array of unique attractions, forgotten archaeological sites and villages where time seems to have stood still. In addition, great food which incorporates Mediterranean, Ottoman and Italian influences, great local wines and beer and an abundance of great coffee.
Albania is a country that is off the main tourist trail but the tides are turning and tourism in Albania is progressing quickly so now is the time to visit this still relatively undiscovered gem.
Since the fall of a particularly brutal strain of communism in 1991, Albania is emerging and advancing at an incredible rate. A progressive and resilient spirit coupled with a determination to move forward are hallmarks of this country and its people.
A minimum of 10 (with a maximum of 16) is required to make the trip viable.
